Ik zie geen PHP-fouten. We moeten dan toch echt het probleem met onze ogen zien.

Met tools in de browser wordt vaak veel duidelijk. Denk aan AJAX-requests.

Als je een praktisch voorbeeld kan tonen, zou dat makkelijk zijn. Een filmpje kan evt ook, maar bij voorkeur lijkt een werkbaar praktisch voorbeeld het beste.

Bljkbaar een } teveel of op de foute plek. Maar blijkbaar is dit een andere versie dan je eerst deelde? Want mijn PHP zag hem niet.

Oplossing is om de aanpassing even terug te draaien. Geen idee wat je precies gewijzigd hebt. Want in beide gedeelde functions-bestanden ging het goed.
 
Ik weet ook niet meer welke stukjes AI code ik er aan heb geplakt.

Beste is om alle wijzigingen terug te draaien zoals het was. En met een fatsoenlijke editor de code weer aanbrengen. Of gooi heel je functions.php aan AI, laat het fixxen, backup het oude bestand, en plaats de nieuwe.
 
Ik maak steeds back-ups, dat is het probleem niet. Maar de debugs zijn niet schokkend begrijp ik?
