Probleem met hardware wizard

Als ik mijn nieuwe bluetooth adapter installeer via hardware toevoegen krijg ik deze melding:

Wat betekent dit en hoe installeer ik nu alsnog deze dongle? Op mijn windows 98 pc werkt de installatie wel.....

Was je aangesloten op dat moment? Probeer het eens zonder aansluiten.

Helaas, de wizard vraagt het apparaat aan te sluiten. Doe ik dat niet dan krijg ik een lijst waarin mijn apparaat niet voorkomt!

Hoop errors van die SiteCom bluetooth.
Niet precies de problemen zoals jij ze hebt.
Wel las ik dit:

Bluetooth Dongle Incompatibility
Problem: Installing a Bluetooth dongle using the default Windows XP SP2 Bluetooth driver, the dongle does not work with Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones.

Solution: When the Bluetooth dongle is attached to the USB port, Windows XP uses the default system Bluetooth drivers, which is incompatible with many handphones. To remedy this, proceed to the Sitecom website and download the latest USB Bluetooth adaptor drivers (currently at version 1.4.2.11). Deactivate XP’s default Bluetooth driver and replace it with Sitecom’s Bluetooth driver. To do that, click on “Start | Control Panel | System | Hardware | Device Manager” and select the ‘Bluetooth Radio’ entry. Right-click the ‘Generic Bluetooth Radio’ option and select ‘Update Driver’. Click on the option ‘No, not this time’ in the next dialog box and select the ‘Sitecom USB Bluetooth Device’ driver and click on ‘Next’ and finally ‘Finish’. Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the system tray and select ‘Add a Bluetooth device’. A wizard will guide you to add and configure additional Bluetooth devices.


Kijk eens of jij die laatste driver wel hebt.
En trouwens...........Windows default bluetooth driver.....zou dat de reden zijn dat je het niet geinstalleerd krijgt?

Hoi,

Bedankt voor je hulp; het lukt echter niet. er is geen default bluetooth-driver geinstalleerd en ik heb de laatste drivers gedownload, welke ik reeds bij mijn installatiepogingen gebruik...

Dat wordt lastig.
In apparaatbeheer staat dus geen driver van XP? Wel vreemd dat het de default wordt genoemd. Je zou verwachten dat het in Windows standaard in het pakket zit. Zou ook kloppen met het weigeren van jouw driver.

Klik rechts op Mijn Computer/Eigenschappen/hardware /Apparaatbeheer en verwijder alle USB .
Cd MB er in , en nieuw opstarten worden de standaar drivers weer geinstalleerd.
Herstart nogmaals ,met de Dongel er in en weer naar Apparaatbeheer,is daar geel vraag teken , dan drivers laten zoeken.
Zo zou het goed moeten komen

Sorry, wat bedoel je met cd mb? Ik heb geen originele windows cd's als je dat bedoelt, het was voorgeinstalleerd...

Ik heb trouwens gewoon fabrieksdrivers, die kan hij wel vinden, hij detecteert het apparaat ook, maar die drivers krijgt hij dus niet geinstalleerd. Hoe kan ik een driver uit een lijst kiezen, of bestaat dat niet meer in XP?
