Volgende doet zich voor ......

Als ik op de startknop rechtklik (in XP)
staat er in de dan verschenen lijst een regel
van een programma welke ik weg wil hebben
Onder de regel >> Openen << staat een regel
>> Browse with Paint shop <<
Deze regel wil ik hier niet hebben
HOE MOET IK DIT VERWIJDEREN,
zonder het programma zelf te verliezen

Usually, all that is required is to remove the appropriate key under the shellex\ContextMenuHandlers key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT for file type "*". For example:

In the sample shown, deleting "gvim" will remove the right-click options for the GUI Vim program I installed. I'd recommend making a back up of the key data in case you want to put it back in later. If you don't find the correct ContextMenuHandlers item under "*" you could try looking under specific file extensions. You could also try searching the registry for the text that appears on the menu. When searching, don't forget to preface any character that is underlined in the menu with an "&". The ampersand is typically used to identify the character to underline when a menu entry's text is saved in the registry.

Paint Shop Pro by Jasc Software is a wonderful program with one exception you can not remove the Browse With Paint Shop Pro 8 from the Windows Right-Click-Context-Menu from within the program. However, you can remove it from the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel Applet. This article will show you how to remove it using the Registry Editor.

Note: Remember to backup your registry before making changes.

Open the Registry Editor
Delete the following registry key:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\Browse With Paint Shop Pro 8]

Zal ook wel voor versie 9 gelden.

paint shop komt niet voor op die plaats in het register

op de tweede reactie staat de register vermelding wel
Moet ik daar die hele map weghalen of alleen de commandmap die eronder zit

Je moet de map verwijderen waarbij staat "browse with paint shop" dat staat dus als het goed is in de linkerkolom
