Van Pagemaker naar Word

Een vriend van mij heeft een groot document geschreven (geschreven boekwerk) met het programma (Adobe) Pagemaker.
Nu moet hij het allemaal overzetten in Word en doet dat met knippen en plakken.
Is er geen mogelijkheid om van dit Pagemaker-document direct een Word-document te maken?

Ik ken dat hele Adobe Pagemaker niet maar ik ben toch even voor je weesten surfen.

Het lijkt er op dat je kunt exporteren naar *rtf. Dit bestandsformaat kan Word dan weer lezen en dan ben je er.

Deze antwoorden vondt ik op het net:

There is no way to *convert* a PM document to MS Word. The only option you
have (besides cut-'n-paste) is to *export* the text in a format MS Word
recognizes (*.rtf, tagged text, etc.). As for the graphics -- they should be
stored somewhere anyway, so you will have to place them in Winword.

Basically, what you are trying to do is similar to having a full-fledged
house and wanting to store it on a truck -- won't work without dismantling
every single brick....


You could output the PM documents as PDFs. Then post the PDFs to a web
site. Then send the URL to the PDF to HTML converter on Adobe's web
site. Then load the converted HTML files into Word and let it convert
the HTML files into a word files. Some of the formatting will get
munged but at least you won't have to place each graphic.

(On second thought, I'm not sure if this will retain the resolution of
the graphics so you may need to place each graphic from the original
file anyway).

Bedankt voor je antwoord, hier kunnen we wel wat mee!
Pagemaker is inderdaad een meer grafisch gericht programma, begreep al dat het lastig zou worden met converteren naar een Word handelbaar document.
We gaan d'r mee aan de slag.
