Ik gebruik Linux Mint met Libre office en daarmee kan ik bestanden als word, jpg en pdf gewoon openen door ze aan te klikken. Nu heb ik een tiental pdf tekstdocumenten die ik via een usb-stick op een laptop met W10 moet zetten. Dat lukt, maar dan zijn ze niet te openen. Dat moet bij Windows blijkbaar omslachtig een voor een met Adobe of Edge, dus even snel door de documenten heen klikken is dan onmogelijk. Op die laptop zit ook Open Office. Ik denk dat pdf's openen daar net zo makkelijk mee gaat als met Libre Office. Dus zocht ik via 'Openen met...' naar Open Office, maar dat was niet te vinden. Ook niet via 'Zoeken in deze computer' terwijl het er dus gewoon op zit. Waarom wordt dat niet getoond?

Open Office is heel anders dan Libre Office.
Bij mij opent een pdf in de browser binnen 1 seconde, vooral als de browser open blijft staan.
