Hoi ik heb een HTML/CSS website gemaakt mbv dreamweaver, maar deze werkt totaal niet goed op Internet Explorer.

Ik heb hierover gegoogle't, maar ik krijg niet echt een uitkomst. Het zit hem waarschijnlijk in de css, maar wat?

dat is raar. Ik heb namelijk op meerdere pc's gekeken van mij klasgenoten, maar ook daar hetzelfde probleem. Waar kan ik zien welke IE heb? Als deze namelijk alleen op IE 9 het normaal doet , zal ik dit moeten vermelden op mijn website.
 
de vraag is heb je win xp of hoger (ie 9 werkt namelijk niet op xp en zit nog steeds in beta voor zover ik weet wat dus weer betekentd dat je die zelf moet gaan downloaden en niet automatisch binnen krijgt)

Ik heb gewoon windows 7 en ik zie mijn website helemaal anders dan dat ik deze in chrome bekijk.
 
Ik zou twee dingen doen, als de donder <xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"/> verwijderen, je presenteert immers html, géén XML. Vervolgens moet bovenaan iedere pagina een doctype komen te staan, en de openende <html> tag.

Doe je dit alles niet dan zullen browsers in quircksmode vervallen, wat onverwachte gevolgen kan hebben.
 
Dankje het werkt nu goed. Ik had de <xml> tag erin zitten, omdat dit vermeld stond op een ander forum, maar vergeten weg te halen toen het niet werkten.

@maarten2001, gebruikers kunnen op Helpmij.nl niet zelf hun vragen sluiten en ook moderators zullen dit alleen doen als we daar reden toe zien.

Als je denkt dat er reden is om een topic te sluiten, kun je dit kenbaar maken aan een moderator door op de "Meld misbruik" knop te klikken.
 
Topic starters kunnen enkel alleen hun vraag op "Opgelost" zetten. Echter is het niet nodig dit al gebruiker te verzoeken. Na twee weken geen reactie en de topic staat nog op "Niet opgelost", krijgt men een email van onze "Watchdog".
 
dat wou ik zeggen ik zet alle topics netjes op opgelost...
