Windows live messenger

Ik heb een probleem met de nieuwe update van windows live messenger als ik wil aan melden dan krijg ik foutcode: 8e5e0408
Zou iemand mij kunnen helpen met wat het is of hoe ik het kan oplossen???

1. Hit "run" in the start menu
2. Type "regedit"
3. Open "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger"
4. Delete the folder called MSN Messenger
5. After this MSN Messenger Live will login as normal.

If you're not comfortable editing the registry, you can run this small reg. file which does the same thing as posted above:
Remove Messenger Settings

Check your event logs running C:\Windows\System32\eventvwr.exe
If you see lots of wlcomm errors under Windows Logs/Application, that means wlcomm has no access to your user directory.

To solve the problem:

1. Back up your user directory under c:\Users\%username% just in case
2. right-click on x:\users\%username% and go to properties
3. go to security tab and click advanced
4. Change the permission set to the following:
Type Name Permission Inhefited from Apply To
Allow %username% Full Control <not inherited> This folder, subfolders and files
Allow SYSTEM Full Control <not inherited> This folder, subfolders and files
Allow Administrators Full Control <not inherited> This folder, subfolders and files

Make sure you uncheck the "include the inheritable..." and "replace.." checkboxes.

Click OK and let it run.

Now you should be able to log on to Messenger.

kan je het er ook in het nederlands neer zetten want mijn engels is niet zo best weet je

1. druk op Uitvoeren in het start menu
2. Type "regedit"

4. Delete de map: MSN Messenger
5. Hierna zal het inloggen weer goed gaan

als je het niet ok vind om in je registry te gaan zitten rotzooien, kan je ook een programmatje downloaden om het voor je te doen.
*hmm, dit zou ik zelf nooit doen. Niet te vertrouwen, je kunt je een registerbackup aan maken. Ga je naar Bestand > Exporteren.

Check je logs door dit je openen C:\Windows\System32\eventvwr.exe
als je veel WLCOMM errors ziet, betekend het dat je geen toegang hebt.

2. right-click x:\users\%username% en gaa naar eigenschappen
3. ga naar Beveiliging (oid) en click 'advanced'
4.veranderd de toegang naar het volgende:
* Alles full control

maar zorgt dat de boxen "include the inheritable..." and "replace.." UNcheckzijn.

Click OK and let it run.

Now you should be able to log on to Messenger.
