Geruchtenmolen: Xbox 360 op 4 november.

Toevallig ook datum van pers-event.

Officieel wordt de lanceerdatum van de Xbox 360 "ergens in het najaar" gepland. Maar een persbericht van een accessoirebouwer is heel wat concreter: 4 november.

Eigenlijk houdt <b><i><a href="http://home.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20050901005321&newsLang=en" class="acontent" target="_blank">ook het persbericht van het bedrijf Intec</a></b></i> van het bedrijf Intec nog de mogelijkheid open voor een andere lanceerdatum. Het bericht stelt dat 4 november "de verwachte lanceerdatum voor de Xbox 360 is".

Vier november wordt een belangrijke datum op het Xbox-agenda, want op 3 en 4 november vindt in Amsterdam het zogeheten X05-event plaats. Dit grootse internationale persgebeuren wordt doorgaans gebruikt om nieuwe gametitels en -diensten aan de media voor te stellen.

Microsoft zwijgt voorlopig over een concrete datum. Vast staat dat het bedrijf de nieuwe console tegen de eindejaarsperiode in de winkels wil krijgen. Als het dan toch geen 4 november wordt, kan het er in ieder geval niet ver van af liggen.

De lanceerdatum van de Xbox 360 mag dan voorlopig onbekend zijn, Microsoft liet twee weken geleden wél weten hoeveel de console gaat kosten. Er komen twee versies: voor 299 verschijnt er een Xbox 360 zonder harde schijf, terwijl 399 euro er eentje mét harddisk oplevert. De duurdere versie heeft bovendien een draadloze controller, terwijl de controller van de goedkopere Xbox 360 nog via een kabeltje is verbonden.
