Sinds kort krijg ik in mijn browser (firefox 4.0) enkel een wit scherm bij een der welke site ik wil openen. Het bizarre is dat er op mijn pc 2 profielen staan, het mijne en dat van mijn vriendin. Bij mijn vriendin werkt alles perfect, bij mij niet...

Mijn besturingssysteem is Vista en heb al geprobeerd alle cookies en historiek te wissen zonder succes. ook Firefox herinstalleren werkt niet.

Iemand een oplossing?

Herinstallatie werkte dus niet... Andere oplossing?

Het is dus enkel op mijn profiel want het profiel van mijn vriendin werkt uitstekend!
 
Ik heb net hetzelfde probleem bij Firefox v4.0
Het probleem bestaat niet bij bv Google Chrome en het herinstalleren van Firefox is ook al geen oplossing.
Ik heb in tegenstelling tot hierboven geen verschillende profielen.

Bij mij is het besturingsprobleem Windows 7 Home 64bit. Het probleem is begonnen na enkele updates van Windows, want ervoor werkte Firefox prima.
Op mijn desktop heb ik Windows XP (Probleem is bij laptop Win7) heb ik ook Firefox v4.0, maar daar heb ik geen enkel probleem.

Het is een vrij vervelend probleem, want Firefox is een uitstekende browser en ik heb geen zin om een andere browser te gebruiken.

Maar ik snap niet hoe het mij kan helpen :/ Zelf heb ik een NVIDIA GeForce GT540M DirectX 11. Ik heb net een HiJack This log gemaakt en zal deze hieronder posten, want ik zie dat sommigen dat doen en dat je daar blijkbaar het probleem in kan vinden. De laptop heb ik nog maar een paar dagen geleden in de Aldi gekocht, ik weet niet of die informatie kan helpen =P

Hallo vonCassis, Hijacklogs worden op Helpmij niet meer behandeld.
Daarvoor mag je een beroep doen op Nucia.eu of op Hijackthis.nl, al vraag ik mij af of je met zo'n nieuwe laptop nu al geinfecteerd bent.
Als je er niet uitkomt kan je het natuurlijk altijd proberen, maar kijk wel even de forumregels na.

Wel, ik heb het logje eens naar een vriend gestuurd en die dacht het probleem te kennen en dus de oplossing ook =)

Het viel hem op dat ik Avast Anti Virus heb en Kaspersky (een trial die meegeleverd was met de laptop). Dus heb ik Kaspersky verwijderd en hup: Firefox werkt terug normaal =)

Ik weet niet of het bij Jesse een gelijkaardig probleem is, maar bij was dit dus de oorzaak van het probleem.

Ja dat is natuurlijk niet goed twee antivirus programma's tegelijk, maar bij Jesse zal het iets anders moeten zijn gezien de twee profielen.
Maar goed bij jou is het dus gelukkig opgelost.
