Samsung S4 Android: Wifi schakelt zichzelf in

De laatste dagen duikt een vervelend probleem op.
De Wifi-verbinding schakelt zichzelf in!
Ik schakel Wifi uit. Een paar minuten later schakelt het zichzelf weer in.

Hoe kan ik dat oplossen?

Confirming that with both wifi "Network Notification" turned off, and "Connection Optimizer" disabled, I have not seen wifi turn itself on again. Thanks

Can't find "connection optimizer"

My Samsung smartphone has Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
I can't find anything specifically labeled as "connection optimizer" so I can't turn it off.
I looked in a bunch of other places too but didn't find it anywhere so either it's called something else on this phone or I don't have it.
Please advise.

Furthermore, I have the Dutch application .
Anybody who knows the Dutch translation for "connection optimizer" and where to find it on Samsung Android 4.4.2 KitKat?

I turned off all possible settings, but WiFi still keeps turning on, seemingly at random:
- Geen meldingen ontvangen wanneer open netwerken binnen bereik zijn.
- Google-locatieservice en andere applicaties niet laten scannen op WiFi-netwerken
- Slimme netwerkwissel --> uitgeschakeld

I'm getting a little annoyed with my dearest smartphone at this moment! :evil:

Still no solution for my problem!
I switch wifi off and it automatically switches itself back on!
There must be a connection with the settings of my IMAP e-mail.
I switch wifi off before going to sleep. In the middle of the night, when an e-mail message arrives, wifi swtiches itself back on.
I tried every option, to no avail :-(
I have now set the e-mail notifications to "Stil" (mute), but that's not the most elegant solution of course.
