Windows 7 langzaam opstarten door harde schijf

Sinds een half jaar wordt mij laptop steeds langzamer doordat de harde schijf enorm hard moet werken.

Bij taakbeheer kan ik ook zien dat er een wachttijd is voor de toegang tot de schijf.

Ik heb het aantal opstart applicaties al tot een minimum beperkt.


Hoe kan ik dat verhelpen.

Ik heb ongeveer hetzelfde model (X53, dat is de duurdere versie) en ik had daar ook last van. Al die standaard ASUS programma's slokte heel veel HDD en RAM capaciteit op. Ik ben ondertussen naar Windows 8 geupgradet en na een schone installatie van Windows 8 middels de optie 'Alles verwijderen en Windows opnieuw installeren' was een verademing. De laptop was veel sneller. Alle ASUS programma's waren verwijderd en ik heb gewoon een schone Windows. Alleen hoefde ik de drivers te installeren en mijn laptop was klaar voor gebruik.

Ik adviseer een schone installatie van Windows 7 te doen zonder behulp van de recoverypartitie. De product code onderop de laptop kan gewoon gebruikt worden voor een schone installatie van Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Je zult dan een Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installatie-DVD moeten bemachtigen.

2e optie is er ook. Je kunt ook de ASUS programma's verwijderen. Maar dan is het de kunst om alleen de onzinprogramma's (zoals trials van spellen en cyberlink crap) te verwijderen en niet de noodzakelijke hulpprogramma's (zoals ATK package etc.). Hier kun je de programma's en drivers downloaden mocht je een verkeerde per ongeluk verwijderen.

Draai ook eens Ccleaner, deze registry cleaner (aangeraden gekregen door edmoor, dank daarvoor :D) en controleer je temperaturen van je laptop met dit tooltje: klikkerdeklik!
Warme laptops zijn ook traag :thumb:.

Schone installatie heb ik overwogen. Voorlopig nog niet gedaan. Kost veel tijd om alle losse programma's er daarna weer op te zetten.

CCleaner gebruik ik, maar zal registry cleaner ook een loslaten. Voor de temperatuurmeting gebruik ik Speccy
 
Zet de backup/ghost/image van je systeem terug als je die hebt?
