XP installeren op een Vista-PC

U schrijft dat er exe bestanden zijn die uitgepakt kunnen worden. Dat is mijn vraag.
Kan het zijn, dat het bestand, dat ik heb gedownload bij INTEL met de naam
iata78_enu.exe dat het een ingepakt bestand is. Maar WINRAR geefy NIET aan dat ik het kan uitpakken. Mijn probleem is niet meer en niet minder, dat ik dat bewuste bestand vlgs mijn "Helper" diende uit te pakken en er diende dan een oem.txt bestand in te staan. Kortweg, ik download dat bewuste bestand maar het is niet uit te pakken.

Sorry, maar lezen blijkt weer eens een kunst te zijn:

1. copy the iata78_enu.exe to drive leter C:
2. now click start then run and type inside the box" c:\iata_enu.exe -a -a -pc:\<path>" (where <path> is the location where you want to extract, and so give it the path you want, but be shure to remember it afterwards)
With Nlite you will have to look for the s-ata driver to mount on the xp copy, so when you import the s-ata driver, browse to the folder you extracted the iata78_enu.exe and search for the ".inf" located in the "Driver" folder and add, nlite will ask you how do you want to import this driver, all you have to do is to select all the lines displayed by that window and mount them into that XP copy.

Eindelijk iemand die mij begrijpt. Ik werk nu in Vista
Ik ga naar "Start" type vervolgens "Uitvoeren" en type dan:
"C:\iata78_enu -a -a -pc:\D:\test" (waarvoor al die parameters -a -a -pc:\)?????
Ik heb het bestand (iata78_enu) zoals u vraagt eerst op C:\ gezet, vervolgens een Dir "Test" gemaakt op schijf "D" .
Als ik na het intypen in het kadertje "Uitvoeren" op "Enter " druk, dan wordt er gevraagd of ik het programma wil installeren. Is dat de bedoeling???????
